My first blog was named for our first house: “Sylvan Manor.” It was on Lookout Mountain in Georgia, just south of Chattanooga, TN. I’ll think of a new name eventually, but we’re defaulting to the original. Here’s a picture of the blog’s namesake.

I’m creating this blog primarily for book reviews, encouraging myself to write in connection with my reading. Church updates (special events, sermon series) will be at the church web site. This site is for more informal posts that aren’t directly related to the church.

There’s also a good chance I’ll provide reviews of music and local shops and restaurants in downtown Nampa. There’s a good chance, but I’m not making any commitments yet.
